Watearth’s staff have trained tens of thousands in environmental and water resources topics through ASCE seminars and webinars related to modeling, design, and best management practices; and through project-specific courses designed for client staff, often related to maintenance.
Watearth’s experience working on roadway projects and with transportation-focused clients includes bridge and scour hydraulic modeling, landscape architecture, permeable pavement, bioretention and other green infrastructure, and more on projects owned or overseen by agencies like Caltrans, LA Metro, TxDOT, and others.
Watearth’s keen understanding of the safety requirements of utility projects is spearheaded by our safety officer, who parlays our extensive technical experience into solutions that meet the regulatory requirements of utility companies. A water resources firm, Watearth is particularly interested in serving Water Districts, and understands through experience the often-complex relationships between Water Districts and their constituent agencies or associations. Recent work with Metropolitan Water District involved hydraulic, hydrologic, and erosion analysis pertaining to dam operation and maintenance. We have provided stormwater consulting to San Gabriel Valley Water Company.
